i got baptised about 25 years ago and was told the new system would be here by now.. along with a lot of other false promises.. so the answer for me would be no!!

Nope, but I had an unbaptism. I denounced WTS and declared that they withheld information from me, so my baptism was no longer considered valid. I burned some WT literature. It was very cleansing.

Everyone should consider it.

I still remember my baptism date. April 5, 1968. El Centro, California. I was 12 years old

They told me it was the most important day of my life and that I should always remember the date

And I do

I've been out now for about 18 years, but I've never had an unbaptism

this site has opened my eyes.. i am suprised as a one time 'do gooder witness' that so many on this site are still 'active' jw's!

and all the time i was a witness i really did not think that anyone would dare even look at such a site!!!!!.

i am also suprised at the number of people in the same situation as me, and the number of people who actually feel they have something to live for now they have left the org!.

Al Sharpton accused Glenn Beck of dishonoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by holding a rally on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on the anniversary of Dr. King's "Dream" speach on August 28, 1963. 10 years ago, Sharpton held a rally at the very same location.

Sharpton's rally was clearly based on hatred and racism. I challenge everyone on this board to demonstrate the same anger, hatred and racism shown at Glenn Beck's rally last weekend.
